Carbon Sequestration
Carbon Sequestration means the capture of carbon - generally from the air. In reality this happens continually in all sorts of ways. However, one of the most important methods is by photosynthesis. During photosynthesis, carbon (in the form of CO2) is “breathed in” by a living organism and retained for use in making other substances.
Prime Carbon facilitates programs which assist Landholders to promote the capture of carbon to their soil and the maintenance of it in that important reservoir. This typically involves programs which support photosynthesis in soil and in plants on the soil.
